The FMTX100 is a fully integrated 125W Stereo FM broadcast system with DSP audio processing, stereo encoder and RDS generator in a single, highly compact product. The result is a complete audio-to-RF transmission system for cost conscious radio stations who demand uncompromising performance.
The RF Output Level an be adjusted from 50 Watts (minimum) to 125 Watts (maximum) output.
The audio processor provides slow gain control, split-band compression, plus composite clipping and digital FIR 15kHz filtering. Three presets are available to suit a range of programme formats.
The internal RDS encoder can operate without the need for a data feed to the transmission site. The content can be updated by the user at any time, via the FMTX100's USB port from a WindowsTM PC or Laptop. Dynamic RadioTEXT updates, if desired, can also be implemented via RS-232 (or remotely, via the Internet, using our optional Device Server.).
A network (TCP/IP Ethernet) connection is also provided, to enable remote web page monitoring and control. An AES/EBU digital audio input option is also available.
The temperature-controlled ceramic bearing fans have an eight year fan life (in ideal environmental conditions) and all components are carefully specified to give a long and reliable service life.
Optional accessory: Sentinel - Status monitoring device with GSM Text Alerts.
The FMTX100-M is an MPX-only Multiplex Baseband version of the FMTX100. Ideal for use with an STL or an external audio processor, it can be used as an Exciter as part of a higher power system - or as a standalone transmitter.
The RF Output Level an be adjusted from 50 Watts (minimum) to 125 Watts (maximum) output.
A version is available with a phase-locking RDS encoder option (FMTX100-M/RDS), should the user's own external audio processor not have an RDS generator.
This internal RDS encoder option can operate without the need for a data feed to the transmission site. The content can be updated by the user at any time, via the USB port, from a WindowsTM PC or Laptop. Dynamic RadioTEXT updates, if desired, can also be implemented via RS-232 (or remotely, via the Internet, using our optional Device Server.
